I hope everyone had a wonderfully blessed Thanksgiving. I certainly enjoy my day. I am truely blessed and my hope is that we all will remember to be thankful everyday, not just one day in the year.
Thanks and TATA
Tomorrow we will celebrate Thanksgiving in the USA. Let us be mindful of those who came before us to join at the dinner table and give thanks for blessings of family, food and friendship. Wonder what it would be like if those pilgrams and Indians had not decided that our world is full of good things and that we should all get along and share our bountiful blessings? I am so blessed with 4 great children, 2 son-in-laws and 2 daughter-in-laws and 7 wonderful grandchildren. My blessing to all is to treasure your family, give thanks for your blessings and share something with someone.
Here's my turkey, staring at you saying "please don't eat me"! I did this activity with a Creative Kutz design project. This was fun to do.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, I am so blessed in my life and I pass on many blessings to all.

I decided to venture into some paper crafts and digi stamps. I made this wreath using patterns from Creative Kutz along with a digi stamp from the Creative Kutz site. This was a fun project to do along with a group of other ladies. The projects are on FB: Creative Kutz page!

OK Y'll, I have been a little crazy with the cards last week. I am posting them quickly and will go back and edit with more details. So loving all of this getting ready for the season!

I did this card for a challenge. I used Elegant Edges and a sentiment from CardzTV stamps. I love the Christmas trees with the hearts and the heart ribbon and buttons!
I love the Santas in the Jolly Holidays cartridge and I love CardzTV stamps! Here are two santa cards I made using both. The santas are on wobbles, wish you could see them "wibble-wobble"!

Here is another card I did for the cattlemen silent auction. I got the cow from Country Life and remembered that My Pink Stamper had a cute sentiment, "Have a moo-velous day" so I used that stamp and added Holi to day!! I am still looking for "cow ideas" if anyone has suggestions, please pass along to me!!
I am making some Christmas card for a cattleman goup silent auction. This is the first I have done and now I am looking for some cows and trying to figure out how do incorporate a cow into a Christmas card! If anyone has ideas,,,,,,I would love some!

I made this card for a friend who loves to read. She came to visit me last week-end and I loved having her come to Tennessee! We had a great time and so I wanted to send her a thank you card for the visit.
Very simple card to make.

I did this card with the cute little girl scarecrow for this challenge. The cut is from the Simply Charmed cartridge found on page 57 in the handbook. I used some twine and a stamp and some nice fall paper.

My granddaughter, Virginia, and I created this card for the challenge. Virginia picked out the paper and the eyes and helped put the ribbon on for the card. We did an action wobble for the little creature! This was fun, thank you for looking. TATA
Had fun doing this little owl card for the challenge. I used an owl from Twinkle Toes cardrige, some twine, stickles and wiggle eyes. The stamp is from Stamps of Life and says "Happy Owl-oween". I put the owl on an action wobble and will send it to my little grandson in Colorado who is 8 months old now! His mom loves to scrap and also loves owls! Now to get busy and make 6 more for all my other granddies!

Confession time: this was the easiest card I have made in a long time!
I just go the Chic and Scary cartridge and this is one of the cuts from it.
All I did was cut, paste, do a little stickles and doodles and I just made a very scary card for this challenge!! Thanks for looking. TATA
Ok, I am just about finished with updating my blog for today!! I have been so busy getting ready for the college class I will be teaching and doing a bit of scrapping that I have forgotten to load my pictures with the cards. I got the Flower Shoppe cartridge and I love it. The directions in the booklet are a bit lacking (or they were for me) so I looked on Youtube and found several great tutorials that helped me get started with this cartridge. I plan to use it a lot and think I will have fun creating my own flowers. I did this card and used some teeny-tiny roses. Pretty simple design but the little flowers added a nice touch. Thanks for looking, TATA!
Sometimes you just need a card to say "HI" to someone and I made up this card for just that time. It was very simple, that is my style but I think the sentiment give a nice message.

My granddaughter started kindergarten this year and she loves it. We designed this card and made one for her teacher. She said she wanted her teacher to know that she is a true "book worm"!
We used the Create a Critter cartridge for the worm, Recess cartridge for the pile of books and a stamp from My Pink Stamper for the sentiment.
It is so important to impress the value of reading to our children and grandchildren and I love it that all my "grandies" love books! My children did also and they are passing the joy of reading on to their children.
